Data protection
How we approach security, retention, and Nigeria-focused data duties.
Last updated 2 August 2026
This page summarises how Funasmedia Limited protects personal data on Entria. It complements our Privacy policy and is written with Nigerian event organisers and guests in mind, including duties under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and related guidance where they apply.
Roles
- Organisers decide why guest details are collected for an event and are responsible for how they use invitations, SMS, and email.
- Entria provides the systems that store and process that data so check-in and messaging can work.
Principles we follow
- Collect and keep only what the product needs for accounts, licences, guest lists, and support.
- Use data for clear purposes tied to running Entria and each licensed event.
- Limit access: organisers and invited helpers see their event; staff access is reserved for support and platform operations.
- Protect data in transit with HTTPS and protect passwords with modern hashing.
Where data is processed
Hosting, email, SMS, and payment partners may process data in Nigeria or other countries. We use reputable providers and only share what each task requires. If you need details for a vendor review, contact us.
Security measures
- Encrypted website connections
- Session and login controls for organisers, helpers, and staff
- Event workspaces so guest lists stay separated by event
- Operational logging to investigate abuse or failures
Please choose strong passwords, avoid sharing logins, and remove helpers who no longer need access.
Retention and deletion
Account and event data are kept while you use the service and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, billing records, security, and legal obligations. Suspended events retain guest records so reactivation can restore the list. To request deletion or an export of organiser-controlled data, email entrialive@gmail.com with the event name and account email. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Breach response
If we become aware of a personal data incident that affects Entria, we will investigate, contain the issue, and notify affected organisers and authorities when required by law.
Requests
Subject to verification and legal limits, you may ask us about access, correction, or deletion. Guests on a list should usually contact the event organiser first; we can help when the request properly sits with the platform.
